The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

The new Hobbit is out this month and I am excited!

The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug.

It is definitely going to be an amazing film, especially seeing it at the IMAX!!

Moved over to Android from Apple

Just changed phone to an Android LG after having an iPhone for around 3 years...



So far I have found the change to Android not much different, there are some extra features which have been useful to me!

The high-res Quad HD screen is a joy to look at, and the quad core processor handles every task with ease..

Impressed so far!!

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare - thoughts

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare came out recently, and as an FPS fan this game was a must!

My favourite FPS of all time was Call of Duty 4 - it is still played to this day by many people (including myself!) after being released 7 years ago!!

This recent Call of Duty is very different, which is something I usually don't like.. but it is brilliant.

The massive amount of customization of weapons, armor and perks make each class different than the rest.

 The jetpack system on the game is very good, it adds a new dimension to the gameplay that changes the standard Call of Duty gameplay that has been the same for years. 

All together I am impressed with the game and how good it looks on PC. 

Oculus Rift experience

I had the experience of using the Oculus Rift on a roller coaster and through a dungeon map!

I used the Oculus Rift DK2:

The roller coaster was the first experience I had with the Rift, and it was amazing! When I saw the Rift at first I thought it could be a gimmick, but once I had it on my mind really did think I was on a roller coaster - and so did my stomach! BUT, I knew the Rift was capable of much more.. The dungeon walk-through map was a much more enjoyable experience, having to duck and turn through the map I saw why this kit is the future.

I was standing at the edge on a ledge with lava at the bottom and my head was telling me that I was going to fall, through the whole gameplay I nearly fell around 10 times, it was really an amazing experience and I would recommend this kit to anyone!
